Class of '66 Geezers and Geezettes:

  I have been reminiscing lately while consuming daytime Mimosas during my holiday vacation.  Now that I am back at work (no Mimosas), I have my practical hat back on, and I have been thinking about old high school friends who I have not seen for 30-40 years, and about the possibility of meeting these people again at our 40th reunion.

  I will commit to using Google and Yahoo and any other means (Bo Dietl?) to find a small number of '66 grads who have not been visible on the website and/or did not attend the 35th reunion.  I will contact them and personally (through the impersonal medium of email) invite (cajole) them to join us.  I have no prediction for whether they will wish to attend.

  Names which initially come to mind for me to contact are Jim Duffy, Guiliano Chicco, Sal Baglieri, John Powers, Geoffrey Burnham, Noel Delaney, Richard Gass, Dan Duthie, Mike Ceo.  I will add a few more.

  I would like to suggest that class-of-66 frequenters of this website provide names of the missing who they will try to track down.  This will likely help us to shake out the cobwebs and think of other 1960's colleagues-in-crime to contact.  A grassroots effort by old friends and acquaintances could be much more effective than a mass mailing.

  I will let you know whom I have searched for, and have contacted.  I respectfully suggest that you do the same.

  Happy New Year to all!

  I would recommend putting Bobby Nicholson on the case of the left-handed pitching ace (Jim Murphy '66).

Bill;

I haven't seen or spoken to Lefty since my wedding in 1973...Some one stated that he had a nervous breakdown but I cannot confirm that.  The last I know was that Sherry and Lefty got drunk on Roosevelt Ave(70's)..Who knows????

Is he in the elavator shafts in the Celtics?

  Those elevator shafts have low ceilings.  Perhaps he bumped his head and has been in a coma up there for 23 years.  Maybe we should get together a posse to search for him.  I'll come down from Connecticut, rent a horse, and meet you in front of Whelan's.
