Tom,

Actually this whole thing is a big misunderstanding.  I was not upset - just wanted to splain the facts.  So apology accepted but not needed.  I hope we're all "good".

Tony, I will respond in a dignified and mature manner:

I'm rubber and you're glue.
Whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you.

PS: The next time you eat in an Italian restaurant, I hope you get that red gravy all over your clean white shirt.

As I have never had, and never will have, red "gravy" -- that should not be a problem.

Wavy Gravy!  And the Hog Farm!  A shrinking proportion of the population knows these references.  I never quite understood the fame of Wavy Gravy, other than that he was a symbol of freedom and nonconformism.  Like Paris Hilton.  The media made him famous.  The Hog Farm gave away food, but who knows how clean it was?   I never met Mr. Gravy, although I was at Woodstock.

     What?

I remember in the funnies - sombody called Funny Snuffy McGee - and he used to say gravy ain't wavy.  But that's all I remember of that.

I presume that you mean the Rogue River.  Have been there numerous times.  I have not read nor seen Sometimes a Great Notion, but now may Netflix it.
