Maybe it's just the warrior mystique.

The term "Operations Warriors" was presented in quotes as it was taken directly from the e-mail I received. Anybody sends me an e-mail from a forward deployment can call themselves anything they would like.

History shows this government to have been founded on Judeo Christian mores, those principles, whether called religious tenants, morals, ethical guides or whatever are ensconced in our society and government.

Well these "more" are generic in nature. Nothing in the founding fathers laws suggest anything other than reasonable fairness (at least if you were white and a land owner). Further, they are ALL dead now. The make up of the country is vastly different. We now have Jews, Moslems, Buddists, and Hindus not to mention those of us who don't have imaginary friends we whom we can talk to (undeterred by the lack of response).

So, according to John, all those non-Christians (there were no Judeos back then) mistakenly came here thinking that this was the land of the free as opposed to the land of the Judeo-Christians who sometimes tolerate others.

Fortunately, most professed "christians" are nominal at best, except when it comes to foisting thier hangups on the rest of the population.

I must have blinked. Did Shannon cater a Christmas Party with Chinese Food?

I buy a living Christmas tree...yes it is a Christmas tree, because it is culturally accepted  with that name....we will decorate it with pretty lights and bulbs because artistically they work well on the tree. After we will plant it and with a LOT of luck, it will be part of the landscaping.  We may have an angel or star on top but like turkey on TG it is tradition and habit.

I find it funny that you are damned if you say Merry Christmas and mean it as a holiday greeting and NOTHING MORE...STEALING the precious Christian holiday.....
and even MORE damned if you say Happy Holidays....

I just get this feeling of paranoid "Christians" feeling that we all must bow to Jesus Birthday or get the hell out of our "Christian Judeo" founded country!  LOL!

My one hope is that Terry is a much more tolerant guy in person and makes great goulash for a 'fallen' Catholic boy like me....

Another sign of hope...off topic....I have been communicating with an Orange County Republican legislator who is actively pushing nuclear and other CLEAN tech solutions here in California...could it actually be that there are politicians on both sides of the aisle who care about the most critical issues of our time and provide leadership??? YES! But perhaps still in the minority.

I've tried to keep the Festivus Pole news to a minimum but this is too good not to share. The Festivus Pole is now a museum piece.

Let us not cheapen the solemnity of Festivus with even the suggestion of a "plastic" PVC pole!

Has anyone else noticed the multitude of chain link fences that have been vandalized lately around city parks and the housing projects, I guess when you take the family out to "hunt" for a festivus pole the pickings are getting slim. What a great gift idea for that hard to please , has everything person on your list, a little tool belt with differant size wire cutters ! We could call it the Festivus Pole procurement kit ! Better then all those little kids running around in a forest with hatchets ! We could include little booklets giving tips on how to recognize electric fences ( and instructions on how to short them out ).

I'd put one in front yard. Smurfball rest of year.

Did you get an aluminum fence post or galvanized steel? Aluminum is the alloy of choice since it has a "very high strength-to-weight ratio"

We've already had our Festivus Pole lot in downtown Milwaukee

So, you cut it up, put it in an envelope and mailed it back. Right?

Of course, cut..envelope..mail back.  What else would I do?  Damned Festivus proselytizer   I'll be sure to bring this up at the next airing of grievances.

Permit? Permit? We don't need no steenking permits!

Actually, we did have a permit. It was all legit as it was for the Milwaukee Brady Street Festivus celebration.

Last time I send you anything.

Since WG's the only one who trusts me with his address, he got one. Here's one for the rest-of-us.
