It is with great sadness I report the passing today of Doug Gensinger, MC '66. Doug had a bone marrow transplant for leukemia a few months ago. He was apparently doing fine until he suffered a severe respiratory infection.

Thanks to all who have prayed for him. Please continue to pray for his soul and for his family.

Funeral arrangements are still tentative. It looks like the funeral will be this Friday, December 30, in Smithtown.

I will be flying to NY tomorrow, and probably won't have Internet access while I am there. If anyone wants information on the funeral, please call my cell phone, 719-649-6637. If I am unable to answer, please leave a number and I will get back to you.

How sad.........too young..............life just seems too unfair sometimes.

My condolences to Doug's family.  May God be with them and comfort them, and may Doug be resting in God's arms.

My prayers go out to Doug and his family.  Both Doug and his brother-in-law (Rich Colarco) worked on stage crew for "The Miracle Worker."

Rich worked the lighting board and Doug helped set up the opening bedroom scene.  It's amazing how you can remember such things that

happened 40 years ago when you often can't remember what you

had for dinner last night.
