This week's Tablet reported the death of Father Jonah (Paul) Trombetta, a
member of the Benedictine Monks of Glastonbury, Hingham, Mass.  He died
on October 31st at the age of 62.  He was formerly a priest of the Diocese of
Brooklyn.

He was born in Queens, attended Immaculate Conception Church in Astoria,
Queen of Apostles Prep, and Mater Christi.  He served as a deacon at St. Mel's
in Flushing, St. Catherine of Siena in St. Albans, and St. Aloysius in Ridgewood,
where he was ordained by Bishop Francis Mugavero on Oct. 20th, 1979.
