EVERYONE, I REALIZE, I NEED NOT REMIND YOU TO VOTE.  IT'S ONLY FIVE MINUTES OF YOUR TIME.  IF YOU DON'T , THAN YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN AFTER THE FACT WHO'S DOING WHAT.

Finally we can rid ourselves of those horrible mud slinging ad campagins.  What a waste of money that could be used for much better causes, like feeding our poor & homeless & meds & health care.

Not to mention those signs all over the roads....

Let's just say a prayer that God will guide us in the right direction as we're pressing those buttons & tomorrow we will wake up to a BRAVE NEW WORLD !!!!!

Speaking for myself, I'll be glad when election day is over.

No more mud-slinging political ads.

And to keep this with in the subject of Political Humor:

I approve of this message!

Someone should have come up with a book by now with the title:

The Wit and Wisdom of Ronald Reagan

Well, Donna, we certainly have a new world (of sorts). We'll see how brave it is.

The Dems got what they wanted. The House and maybe (as I write this) the Senate. Now let's see them do something positive with their victory. Frankly, I don't expect much. The Republicans squandered every opportunity since 1994 to do anything right. I don't think the Dems are any smarter.

It will take some real vision to re-structure the government from top to bottom. I see no one with vision on the horizon. The campaign just past was characterized by the usual platitudes.

I have always been an issue voter. This election has convinced me it is not enough to vote for someone who thinks the way I do on the issues at hand. The problem is, the issues do not capture the character of the problem: government at all levels has entirely lost its way in carrying out the principles on which this country was founded.

I am forced to conclude the Great Experiment is in a long twilight decline. And Nancy Pelosi ain't going to do a thing to bring us out of it. Our failure to send men and women of vision and integrity to govern (with a very few exceptions) will do us in. And we will have only ourselves to blame.

Marie..thanks so much

Bill--  we can only hope & pray it will work..neither is perfect & we have a very horrible situation to work our way out of.  Hopefully, this election will help to mend the schism of our country & we can work as a whole not as a house divided to bring peace & bring our troops home without loosing face.

At this writing Montana was just declared Democrat...Virgina is still out so as it stands 49-50 Dems but their leading so it might be 49-51....

Rumsfeld has just stepped down....Thank God, we can go forward..

Hopefully, working together we can NOW....."Give Peace A Chance"...

I doubt if we'll be leaving Iraq any time soon.

One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up – fireman, mechanic, businessman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, and so forth.

But little Justin was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when the teacher prodded him about his father, he replied, "My father’s an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and make love with him for money."

The teacher, obviously shaken by his statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and then took little Justin aside to ask him, "Is that really true about your father ?"

"No," the boy said, " He works for the Republican National Committee and was working to get Republicans elected in this past election, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids.

I guess he forgot about Vietnam and let us not now forget Iraq......

RR was a nice fellow with platitudes instead of real philosophy. No presindent until the current one ever ran up such a stupendous deficit......Gorbechev's legacy will be the end of the Cold War. Reagans will be a world armed to the teeth with nukes that are ripe for terrorists to use.....

I'll be guessing the new phrase "You wouldn't treat me like that if I were single or divorced", will be replacing the more commonly used whines of "asian, black, hispanic or jewish"!  Yes folks, we married people have just been recognized as America's newest minority!  Soon we'll get extra credit on tests, be able to claim discrimination for not getting picked for a job or promotion and have preferential treatment by our new Democratic leadership.  Whoa!!  Could that last one have been a ploy by the Democrats to get into office?  Hey, whatever it takes.  I'm married, so just give me my damn discount bitch!
