I have made a video illustrating how to include photos in posts. There are 2 ways to do this:

1) capture a photo from the internet

2) capture a photo from your PC

Part 1 shows how to post a photo from the web. Part 2 will show how to post a photo from your PC. The video was done on a Windows XP machine with Internet Explorer. There is audio so be sure your speaker is on. The video is best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024x768. There are 3 versions of the video. The first is a Flash video. The second is Windows Media for 'faster' PCs. The third is Windows Media for 'slower' PCs. Hopefully one will work for you. This is my first attempt using this technology so please give me feedback especially if you have difficulty.

Dear Web guy,

The first word has me baffled . The word is "capture."

Perhaps if I view the video that will be cleared up but I do not have time today to view but I just wanted you to know that word is scaring me.

Thank u

Pat T

Here's the second video. It shows how to get a photo from your PC to a post. The last issue I need to address is email.  Stay tuned.

Tony,Thanks for this video 'how-to' presentation.  I got it fine on the Flash version, but also had a black screen when I tried the high resolution(#2).  You make it sound so easy there;  I'll need some time at home to play with it.  Thanks for making our Weblife More Abundant.

OK, one last word about posting pictures from email.

1) I have illustrated how to 'post' pictures from a web site by pointing to it's URL.  However,  if you use web-based email such as gmail or hotmail, this method does not work.  If you have a photo in your email that you want to share, first save it on your PC and then use the instructions on posting a photo from your PC.

2)  As a general rule, you CANNOT copy and paste photos from your email.  Some people have received emails with text interspersed with photos and try to post the entire email by copying and posting the entire email.  The message board is full of examples of what happens when this is attempted - it does not work.

Hope this helps.
