Russ is just a big "softie"

Anyway, getting back to Importing/Exporting. I'm like, in kind of a hurry to make the "Big Bucks".
John, what legal import or export has the highest margin? Like, can we do oil, say?

I looked for it at Barnes and Noble this morning but they didn't seem to have it yet. Or was I looking in the wrong section. I assume it's in the business book section but in what area?

It should be in the international business section.... or small business ..... but it was only released last week... and I think that it still has not worked its way into the store level.  I haave purchased copies online at Barnes and NOBle.com and Amazon.com......  but the easiest is usually to ask one of the people in the store..... it shold be in the store in a week or so...

The schedule publication release date was 6/30..... it did get released about a week early.

Keep looking.... thanks....

Still no luck. Different Barnes & Noble. It showed up in the database but not on the shelf. I'll keep looking.

Speaking of exports, is there any reason we can't peg a bushel of corn to the price of a barrel of oil?? Let them eat sand if they don't like it.

Actually with corn being used in the production of ethanol.....  the price of corn has moved up significantly... and it is even getting to the point where corn is getting to expensive and they have stopped using as feed for animals.... (corn fed)

http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Import-Export-for-Dummies/John-J-Capela/e/9780470260944/?itm=1

If you look in the middle on the right hand sotre, you can enter your zip code.... and you can cehck availability at a specific store before you visit the store.

Thanks again for looking, and I would welcome your comments... and sorry for you difficulties...

No need to apologize. I enjoy wandering through the actual store more than buying online. Since I'm not in an immediate need, I have no problem continuing to look.

For the record, I checked out the link and two stores it mentioned as having the book, are the ones that I had visited and did not have it. It must be flying off the shelves.

Thank most definately would be good news.....  I think ... so far it has been doing fairly well.  Amazon has rankings, and it has been ranked one of the top import export books..... and they are also offering it in their Kindle Electronic Version.

I think Barnes and Noble sort of placed one book in each store....  so far the three stores I checked all just had one copy on the shelves.....

I appreciate your looking and would welcome your comments after glancing at it.... and if you glance at it.... make sure to go online and post a favorable 5 star review at both the Amazon and Barnes and Noble web site....

Promotion Code? I hate filling out forms and leaving blanks. I learned my lesson from filling out FAFSA.

Found it! Had to visit two B&N's today but the first called and found it in the second. Just in time since I've scheduled a meeting on Monday to review how we can take advantage of the dollar/euro rates and increase our exports to Europe. We're seeing an increase in inquiries as European manufacturers are taking advantage of the savings by having product manufacture in the US at "cheap" labor rates.
